Welcome to the Cascadia Chapter of SAVE International
The Cascadia Chapter of SAVE welcomes you. We have an active Chapter dedicated to providing you with networking opportunities, resources, and presentations relevant to the value improvement industry, be it Value Engineering, Six Sigma, Lean, or any of the many disciplines dedicated to improving the value of your programs, projects, and processes.
Our Chapter boundaries encompass Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and western Canada. While we meet where the bulk of our active members reside, in the Puget Sound area of Washington, we encourage participation from all of our members wherever they may be. To assist in increasing the collaboration between members we have purchased a laptop computer along with audio/video connections. Having this will enable us to stream our chapter meetings live so those that wish can participate remotely.
The Chapter alternates meetings on the second Monday or Wednesday of each month September through May. Dates for this year’s meetings are as follows:
o Wednesday, November 9th
o Monday, December 12th
o Wednesday, January 11th
o Monday, February 13th
o Wednesday, March 8th
o Monday, April 10th
o Wednesday, May 10th
As we kick off the 2016/2017 meetings I want to encourage you to monitor the updates to our program schedule on the website. Last year we expanded our meetings to include one in Olympia, WA and another one in Vancouver, WA. We look forward to holding a few meetings outside the greater Seattle area again this year; in fact, if you have venue suggestions, contact our Chapter Secretary Ann Jamison at firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, we are always looking for interesting presentations or activities. If you have an idea for a presentation, or project tour or other activity let Ann know and she will bring it to the Board.
We look forward to seeing you at a future event. If you can’t be there in person, each emailed event invitation includes information about our virtual meeting connection.
